Natalie Smith Pope

Owner/Instructor

Natalie is a native to Pearl River county in South Mississippi where she began dancing at the age of two at Ms. Sarah's School of Dance in Poplarville, MS. She continued dancing throughout her childhood, studying ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and also competing at Leisha's Dance School in Picayune, MS. After graduating from Poplarville High School in 2006 Natalie attended Pearl River Community College where she graduated with a degree in Business Marketing and Management. While at PRCC she was a member of PRCC's String of Pearls dance team and competed at state and national collegiate dance team championships. She moved to Hattiesburg in 2008 and in 2009, she founded Dance Dynamics of Hattiesburg. She married in November of 2013 and now lives in Collins, MS with her husband, Mason Pope.

Natalie has over 28 years of dance and tumbling experience, thirteen of those years have been devoted to teaching recreational and competitive dance at DDH and other local studios. She has studied ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop and acro/tumbling. She is an active member of Dance Educators of America, the National Dance Education Organization and is also Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique Certified.

Natalie loves promoting the art of dance and helping instill a passion for the art in young dancers.

Christy Smith

Office Manager

Christy has a passion and love for children and believes each child has a special purpose. Christy has over 27 years of educational experience with children of all ages. She has owned, operated and directed a licensed child care center. She worked in the public schools for 11 years and worked in the Community College and University College levels of education for 7 years. She is a MSHD early childhood trainer/specialist and has graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Christy has two daughters, three grandsons and has been married for 30 years to Barry Smith.
